Home Hazards Prepare Plans Training Links Homeland SecurityThe world has changed since September 11, 2001. We remain a nation at risk from terrorist attacks and will remain at risk for the foreseeable future. We must remain vigilant, prepared, and ready to deter terrorist attacks. In April of 2011, the United States Department of Homeland Security developed a new National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) to replace the older color-coded Homeland Security Advisory System (HSAS). The Department of Homeland Security has put out a Public Guide to explain the new advisory system. You may view and/or download this document below. For those wishing to construct their own shelters we have the following documents available. |
